Frosty Christmas by zephyrofgod Frosty Christmas by zephyrofgod
It's another stock photo! Yay!

Because of its mixed category nature, I stuck it in nature. It is a Christmas TREE after all. The ice and snow are from the ice storm that the Midwest got socked with this year, but it makes for some great photos, like this one.

Anyway, if you use, please contact me for clearance, AND then you must show me what you've used it on afterwards (because darnit, I like favouriting stuff!). You must also credit me for any uses.

If you look close, you can see the icicles left from the ice storm that caused this. It was extremely dangerous, as tree limbs were falling all over the place. This was the first time many of the people on my block had power.

I meant to comment on this the other night but I was so tired. Now I am. One thing about the snow I absolutely love is the fact that it picks up the lights from outside giving it a much more added affect for the holiday season. You picked it up very nicely. :)

If you only knew what sort of hellacious weather produced this picture! When I shot this, most of the town I live in had no power thanks to a terrible ice storm (we're talking two inches of ice). We haven't totally recovered from it, but it's much better now than it was when I shot this photo.

Still, I'm rather pleased at how the weather helped to produce something so pretty.

Oh man now that had to suck. I remember an ice storm here that took power out for several cities here a couple of years back. Some of the power lines were down (these were the metal once) it was a mess. I hope you guys recover fully. Nothing sucks worse then being thrown back a hundred years.
